Description
Neue Burg - Teil der Wiener Hofburg is an impressive historical monument in the heart of Vienna, part of the Hofburg Palace complex. Built between 1881 and 1913, this monumental Neo-Baroque-style building symbolizes the last breath of the Habsburg Empire.
The interiors hide several fascinating museums: the Hunting Museum and Armory with one of the largest collections of weapons in the world, the Ephesus Museum displaying ancient artifacts, and the Collection of Historical Musical Instruments, where you can admire unique exhibits, including a violin made from the shell of a turtle.
The building's architecture, with its majestic arch and colonnades, creates a dramatic setting for Heldenplatz.
