National Trust - Ightham Mote

National Trust - Ightham Mote is one of the oldest medieval manor houses in England, dating from around 1320.

This unique monument is surrounded by a moat and consists of four wings connected by bridges. Inside there is a great hall, chapels and a distinctive gallery dating back to the 15th century.

An interesting feature is the UK's only dog kennel with Grade I listed status, built in 1890. Beautiful gardens with traditional flowers, an orchard with apple trees dating back to the 13th century and scenic footpaths complete this historic complex.
