The Liars Bridge is a fascinating historical monument in the heart of Sibiu, being the first cast iron bridge in Romania without supports.

Built in 1859, it is surrounded by many legends - it is said to be able to detect a lie and makes strange sounds when someone passes it.

According to another legend, it was the place of first dates, and young ladies who lied about their virtue were supposed to be thrown off it. Its unique construction and romantic atmosphere make it a must-see when exploring Transylvania's medieval charm.
