The Międzyrzecz Fortified Region - Museum of Fortifications and Bats is a fascinating complex of German fortifications from the 1930s.

A system of underground tunnels more than 30 kilometers long conceals a remarkable military history and Europe's largest bat reserve, inhabited by more than 30,000 of these mammals.
