Malecón of Havana

The Malecón of Havana is an iconic 8-kilometer-long boardwalk and seawall stretching along Havana's northern coastline.

Built in 1901, it connects historic Old Havana with the modern Vedado neighborhood, offering breathtaking views of the sea and historic architecture.

It's a place where local fishermen, street artists and residents come together, creating a unique atmosphere of Cuban life. Strolling along the promenade, one can admire the mix of architectural styles, from Art Nouveau to Neoclassicism, as well as the many monuments and monuments.
