Krzywa Wieża w Pizie

The Leaning Tower of Pisa is one of the most recognizable monuments in the world. With a height of 56.7 meters and a characteristic slope of about 4 degrees, this medieval bell tower is a true marvel of architecture and engineering.

Construction of the tower began in 1173 and took more than 200 years. Its tilt is due to the soft ground on which it was erected.

Climbing to the top (297 stairs) is an unforgettable experience, with a spectacular view of Piazza del Duomo and all of Pisa. It is worth knowing that Galileo Galilei conducted his famous experiments on gravity from the tower.
