Killyleagh Castle Towers

Killyleagh Castle Towers is one of the oldest inhabited castles in Ireland, dating back to 1180. Originally built by John de Courcy for protection against the Vikings, today it impresses with its mix of medieval and 19th century architecture.

The castle is famous for its distinctive towers in the style of French castles, its imposing entrance hall with ornate stucco and its striking oak staircase. Additional attractions include secret passageways and a hidden well in the courtyard.

The place is shrouded in legends, including the tale of the 'White Lady' - a ghost haunting the castle, which adds to its mysterious charm.
