Hirschsprung

Hirschsprung is a fascinating place in the Höllental Valley in the Black Forest. The name means 'deer jump' and refers to the legend of a deer that jumped over a narrow gorge.

The site features an impressive 2.5-meter bronze deer statue weighing 350 kg, which has been restored several times. The surrounding area is stunning with rock walls reaching 130 meters high and picturesque views.

It is an ideal place for nature, history and hiking enthusiasts. Nearby attractions, such as the Hofgut Sternen glass manufactory and the Ravennaschlucht canyon, make excellent additions to the trip.
