Description
Hill of Tara is an ancient ceremonial and burial site of great historical and cultural significance. For more than 3,500 years it served as the seat of the Great Kings of Ireland, where numerous coronations took place.
Discover fascinating monuments and earthen structures, including the Hostage Mound (Neolithic tomb), Lia Fáil (Stone of Destiny) and numerous ring forts.
The site is deeply rooted in Irish mythology, associated with the Tuatha Dé Danann, a legendary race of gods. Tara Hill offers an extraordinary journey back in time, allowing you to immerse yourself in the rich history of ancient Ireland.
