Description
Großjockenmühle is a fascinating historical monument located in the picturesque Ravenna Gorge in the Black Forest. This unique water mill, built in 1883, is distinguished by its unusual water supply system - due to the steep terrain, water is guided over the roof of the building onto a water wheel.
As a protected monument, the mill is an excellent example of the region's industrial heritage. The spectacular landscape surrounding it, with waterfalls and lush greenery, creates the perfect backdrop for history and nature lovers.
A trip to the mill can be combined with a visit to the nearby St. Oswald's Chapel dating back to 1148, creating an experiential journey through the history and nature of the Black Forest.
