Coombe Hill Monument

Coombe Hill Monument is one of the first and largest war memorials commemorating soldiers killed during the Second Boer War (1899-1902).

Located 260 meters above sea level, this unique monument offers breathtaking views of the Aylesbury Valley. On sunny days, even the distant Berkshire Downs and Cotswolds can be seen from here.
