Description
Chorros de Epina is a magical fountain with seven wooden pipes, each of which is said to have different properties.
According to local legends, the first two pipes are responsible for health, the next two for love, and the last three for luck. Tradition says that men should drink from the odd-numbered pipes and women from the even-numbered ones to ensure good luck in love.
The site is associated with the romantic story of Princess Gara and her beloved Jonay, who, according to legends, died together because of impossible love. Surrounded by lush vegetation, it is a unique combination of natural beauty and cultural heritage of La Gomera.
