Description

Castle of the Three Kings of Morro is an impressive 16th century fortress guarding the entrance to Havana Bay. This historical gem impresses with its irregular shape built into the rocky coastline and powerful defensive walls.

The Faro del Morro lighthouse, added in 1844, offers a breathtaking panorama of the city and the sea.

Inside the fortress is the Maritime Museum, which documents the history of the fortification and its role in maritime defense. The evening cannon firing ceremony at 9pm is a unique experience, recreating an 18th century ritual.
