Description
Broadway Tower is a fascinating monument in the heart of the English countryside, designed as an artificial castle ruin. Erected in 1794 for Lady Coventry, this 18-meter-high tower offers spectacular views of 16 English counties and Wales.
The tower was used by artists from the Pre-Raphaelite movement, including William Morris. During the Cold War, it housed a nuclear bunker, which can be visited today.
The scenic park surrounding the tower is inhabited by deer, and outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy the scenic trails. It's the perfect place for enthusiasts of history, architecture and beautiful views.
