Description
The Michal Gate is the only surviving medieval gate in Bratislava, built in the 14th century. This seven-story tower, 51 meters high, offers unforgettable views of the Old Town.
After being rebuilt in the 1850s, it gained a Baroque appearance and a distinctive statue of St. Michael fighting a dragon on top. Inside is the Bratislava City Museum's Weapons Exhibition.
It is an ideal place for history and architecture lovers, where you can feel the spirit of medieval Bratislava.
