Description
National Trust - Stowe Gardens is one of the most important examples of English landscape gardens from the 18th century.
More than 250 acres, designed by master landscapers Bridgeman, Kent and Capability Brown, shelter more than 40 temples and monuments, including the Arch of Corinth and the Temple of Venus.
Walking along scenic paths, such as the Path of Misconduct and the Path of Virtue, you will discover the fascinating history of the Cobham family estate. The Octagonal Lake and numerous monuments create an unforgettable landscape that delights lovers of architecture, history and nature.
