Heald Square Monument

Heald Square Monument is an impressive historical monument in Chicago, depicting George Washington and two of the main financiers of the American Revolution - Robert Morris and Haym Salomon.

This 11-foot bronze sculpture, designed by the famous Lorado Taft, symbolizes patriotic unity and tolerance. The figures holding hands express the solidarity that was central to the founding of the American nation.

At the base of the monument is a quote from Washington's letter to the Hebrew Congregation in Newport, emphasizing opposition to bigotry and persecution - values still relevant today.
