Gülhane Park

Gülhane Park is one of the oldest public parks in Istanbul, which was formerly part of the Topkapi Palace gardens. The name means 'Rose Garden' and perfectly captures the character of the place.

The park impresses with its lush vegetation, colorful flower compositions and spectacular Tulip Festival in the spring. Its grounds offer picturesque views of the Sea of Marmara and iconic monuments like the Hagia Sophia.

Within the park is the Museum of Islamic History of Science and Technology, showcasing fascinating Turkish inventions including water clocks and rose water distillers.
