Gropius Bau

Gropius Bau is a historic exhibition space in Berlin, combining Renaissance architecture with contemporary art.

The building, designed in the Italian Neo-Renaissance style, impresses with an impressive atrium with mosaics and terracotta figures.

It regularly hosts major exhibitions of contemporary art, archaeology and photography, featuring works by artists such as Ai Weiwei, Frida Kahlo and David Bowie.

On the first floor is the BauBau, a colorful play space for children where they can create and explore in creative ways.
