Kalamata Municipal Railway Park

The Kalamata Municipal Railway Park is the only open-air railroad museum of its kind in Greece. This unique park combines history with recreation, offering visitors the opportunity to admire a collection of vintage trains, including seven steam locomotives, passenger and freight cars.

The former Kalamata-Port train station features original station buildings, four platforms and a water tower. The park also offers numerous recreational activities - playgrounds, sports fields, scenic gardens and a small lake.
