Mili gorge

Mili gorge is a picturesque gorge in Crete, combining history with natural beauty. Here you will find the remains of 14th-century villages and 16th-century water mills from the Venetian era.

The trail follows the old Turkish calderimi through lush vegetation creating a jungle atmosphere, with a flowing stream and two small waterfalls.

The hike is relatively easy, ideal for a half-day activity for families. Bring comfortable shoes, water and be prepared to explore hidden churches and abandoned houses that nature is slowly reclaiming.
