Glengyle Distillery

Glengyle Distillery is a historic distillery in Campbeltown that, after closing in 1925, was reopened in 2000 by a descendant of the founder.

The site is famous for producing Kilkerran single malt whisky, named after the Gaelic name for Campbeltown. The distillery uses traditional equipment acquired from other distilleries, which gives its products a unique character.

Tasting Kilkerran 12 Year Old is best enjoyed unfined or with a little water, which enhances the fullness of the flavors. It pairs perfectly with smoked salmon, mature cheeses or dark chocolate desserts.
