Description
The New Town Hall in Hanover is an imposing, castle-like building in an eclectic style from the time of Wilhelm II.
Built between 1901 and 1913, it rises to a height of almost 98 meters and offers a unique viewing platform in the dome, accessible via a special elevator that travels on a parabolic track.
On the first floor of City Hall are four models of the city, depicting the development of Hanover, including the destruction of 1945. Surrounded by the picturesque Maschpark, this architectural gem is the perfect tour point for history and architecture lovers.
