Riemer Park is a unique oasis of greenery in Munich, built on the site of a former airport.
At the heart of the park is the 10-hectare Riemer See artificial lake, ideal for swimming and sunbathing on warm days. You'll also find a 15-acre forest and two 20-meter-high viewing hills, which serve as sledding hills in winter.
The park offers playgrounds for children of all ages, a skate park and beach volleyball courts. The scenic 8-kilometer-long paths allow for relaxing walks among the diverse vegetation and birds.
