Description
Ruppin forest and lake area is a charming corner of northern Brandenburg where history meets nature. The area, part of the Stechlin-Ruppiner Land Nature Park, delights with 180 lakes and extensive forests covering almost two-thirds of the land.
It's a place once traversed by German writer Theodor Fontane, who immortalized his impressions in a book. Today it offers excellent conditions for hiking, cycling and water sports.
The moraine hills, clear lakes and rich biodiversity create an ideal setting for nature and photography enthusiasts.
