Schlenkerla, Rauchbierbrauerei

Schlenkerla, Rauchbierbrauerei is a historic brewery dating back to 1405, run by the Trum family for six generations. It is famous for its unique smoked beer 'Aecht Schlenkerla', which is poured straight from oak barrels, giving it a distinctive smoky aroma.

The interior boasts a cozy atmosphere with wooden beams painted with ox blood through the ages, giving the place a rustic charm. The walls are decorated with historical engravings, including 'Schedel's World Chronicle' from 1493.

The menu features traditional Franconian cuisine, such as the famous Bamberg onions in beer sauce and pork roast.
