Catalyst Arts

Catalyst Arts is a unique, artist-run gallery in the heart of Belfast, operating since 1993. It is a space that promotes both local and international contemporary art.

The gallery is renowned for the diversity of artistic disciplines on display, from traditional media to experimental installations. It has an impressive archive of more than 2,000 unique documents on Northern Ireland's art history.

As a cultural and creative center, Catalyst Arts supports both emerging and established artists, providing a launching pad for many artists who later go on to become institutional curators or international artists.
