Fusterlandia

Fusterlandia is an unusual, colorful neighborhood in Havana created by artist José Fuster.

It's a true paradise for art lovers, where more than 80 houses have been covered with colorful mosaics depicting mermaids, fish, palm trees and elements of Cuban culture.

Inspired by the work of Gaudí and Picasso, the pieces reflect the daily life of Cubans, their history and beliefs. Walking through the streets of this surreal land, one can admire quotes by Cuban writers and references to santería and the island's revolutionary past.
