Frauentor

Frauentor is an impressive 14th century city gate, part of Ravensburg's medieval fortifications. The 36-meter-high tower was rebuilt after a fire in 1982 and impresses with its majestic defensive structure with machicolations - elements used to pour tar on attackers.
