Description
The Château de Brissac is the highest castle in France, rising seven stories high. This historical gem combines medieval charm with Baroque splendor.
The interiors are stunning with luxurious furniture, paintings and tapestries from the 15th-18th centuries. Particularly impressive are the Royal Bedroom, the Mortemart Room and the Hunting Room with its impressive collection of trophies.
The castle also hides a private theater from the 19th century and a chapel. Its unique architecture with four towers, drawbridge and fortifications makes it one of the most distinctive buildings in the Loire Valley.
