Description
Woinic is the world's largest sculpture of a wild boar—a 50-ton steel colossus 10 meters high and 14 meters long, symbolizing the strength and metallurgical heritage of the Ardennes.
Created by artist Eric Sléziak over 11 years, this impressive monument made of welded steel plates impresses with its industrial aesthetics and monumental scale. Its transport in 2008 attracted over 150,000 spectators!
An ideal stop on the A34 motorway, it is the perfect place to take a souvenir photo and enjoy a short break with a view of the Ardennes landscape.
