Description
Camargue Regional Nature Park is a unique European wetland located at the mouth of the Rhône River. This vast park of 85,000 hectares impresses with its wildlife, salt marshes, reed beds and lagoons. It is home to 44 species of mammals and more than 237 species of birds, including the iconic pink flamingos.
It is a paradise for nature lovers and bird watchers. The park offers a variety of activities - horseback riding, biking and water sports. You can admire white horses and bulls roaming freely in the park grounds.
Unique vantage points, such as La Gacholle Lighthouse and Saint Louis Tower, provide spectacular views of this remarkable ecosystem.
