Cinémathèque des Pays de Savoie et de l'Ain is a unique cultural venue housed in a beautifully restored 1934 former cable car station building.

This film treasure trove has an impressive collection of more than 8,000 filmstrips and video materials from 480 depositories, documenting the socio-cultural history of the Alpine region.

The intimate 37-seat cinema hall is used for educational purposes, introducing visitors to the region's rich heritage. The railroad's original equipment and exterior staircase remain intact, creating a tangible connection to the past.
