Description

Faro de la plata is a picturesque lighthouse built in 1855 on Mount Ulía, offering breathtaking views of Pasaia Harbor and the Cantabrian Sea.

The lighthouse's white structure contrasts beautifully with the natural landscape of the Basque coast, and the surrounding cliffs take on a silver hue when exposed to the waves, which gave the place its name.

Although the lighthouse itself is closed to the public, the 45-minute walk from Pasai San Pedro rewards the effort with beautiful views, the cries of seagulls and the unique connection between sea and land in this charming corner of Spain.
