Taino Farm

Taino Farm is a unique demonstration and education center focused on permaculture principles in the Dominican Republic.

The farm boasts one of the largest aquaponic systems in the country, where tilapia help grow fruits, herbs and vegetables. The farm has more than 100 different fruit trees, and the vegetable gardens are grown according to permaculture principles, without chemical sprays or fertilizers.

You can take half-day tours of the farm, learn about natural building techniques and experience living in harmony with nature. For those who wish, jungle huts are also available, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in rural Dominican life.
