Doan is a picturesque mountain in the heart of the Mourne Mountains range, offering an unforgettable experience for hikers.

Despite its relatively low elevation of 593 meters, the peak provides spectacular 360-degree views of the entire mountain range, including Silent Valley Reservoir and surrounding peaks.

The trail starting from the Ott parking lot is accessible to both beginners and experienced hikers, although the final section requires rock climbing. The summit provides an ideal spot for a picnic and souvenir photos.
