Description

Deutscher Alpenverein Sektion Marburg is one of the largest clubs in Marburg, founded in 1892, with more than 4,500 members. It is part of the world's largest mountaineering association.

The club offers a wide range of activities: climbing, bouldering, mountain hiking and skiing. It has an impressive Volksbank Kletterhalle climbing hall of 840 sq. m. inside and 242 sq. m. outside, with 90 climbing routes.

Regular classes are organized for yoga enthusiasts. The section also runs educational programs and special activities for families, youth and seniors.
