Ishøj beach is a scenic 7-kilometer beach located just 15 minutes from downtown Copenhagen. Artificially created in 1980, this seaside park offers clear waters for swimming and beautiful coastal views.
In addition to beachcombing and swimming, you can rent SUP boards, visit the cozy marina with restaurants and cafes, or admire the many outdoor art installations.
A unique experience is to combine relaxing on the beach with a visit to the nearby ARKEN Museum of Contemporary Art, one of the best collections of contemporary art in Scandinavia.
