Maiden stone (Dívčí Kámen) is the fascinating ruins of a medieval castle from 1349, built by the Rožmberk family. The name is associated with the legend of a young Rožmberk and a beautiful girl.
The castle is located on a high, rocky hill above the junction of the Křemžský Stream and the Vltava River, offering breathtaking panoramic views. The surrounding area is a nature reserve and is part of the Blanský Las protected landscape area.
