Description
The Kašperk Castle is a majestic Gothic fortress located at 886 meters above sea level in the heart of the Šumava National Park.
Built in 1356 by Emperor Charles IV, it was a key protection for the borders of Bohemia and controlled the famous 'Golden Route' of trade.
The two residential towers offer breathtaking panoramas of the Shumava mountains. It is an ideal place for history and nature lovers, where medieval architecture meets picturesque landscapes.
