Monument to the Castellers

Monument to the Castellers is an impressive 11-meter bronze sculpture immortalizing the traditional Catalan art of building human towers.

The remarkable work weighs 12 tons and depicts 222 detailed figures, including images of famous Catalans like Pau Casals and Antoni Gaudí. The sculpture shows the moment when the human tower is being formed and is about to be topped off.

Musicians - two singers and a timpanist - stand next to the main structure, adding authenticity to the whole. It's a great place for photos and a starting point for exploring other Tarragona attractions.
