Kipling Statue

Kipling Statue is a unique life-size bronze sculpture depicting Rudyard Kipling, Nobel Laureate in Literature.

Placed on a bench, the statue was created by local sculptor Victoria Atkinson, who reproduced the writer's figure - from his hat to the size of his shoes - with extraordinary attention to detail.

The sculpture commemorates Kipling's 34-year stay in Burwash, where he lived until his death in 1936. It's a great spot for photos and a starting point for exploring other sites associated with the writer, including a nearby war memorial with an inscription of him.
