Cosmeston Lakes Country Park & Medieval Village

Cosmeston Lakes Country Park & Medieval Village is a unique combination of natural beauty and historical charm. The park of more than 100 hectares, with two large lakes formed from ancient limestone quarries, has been recognized as a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

A reconstructed medieval village from the 14th century takes you back in time to the year 1350. Walking between authentically recreated buildings like the Steward's Barn and the Baker's House, you can feel the atmosphere of the Middle Ages.

The park is home to rare plant and animal species, including swans, ducks and cormorants. It's the perfect place for families, nature lovers and history enthusiasts.
