Description

Cock Marsh is a unique nature reserve of more than 150 acres, encompassing wetlands and steep limestone slopes.

This place is famous for its extraordinary biodiversity - rare plant species are found here, including the endangered Brown Galingale, found in only 12 places in the UK.

Four Bronze Age barrows, listed as historic sites, are a historic attraction. Excavations conducted in the 19th century revealed cremated bodies and artifacts such as a shield and knife.

Picturesque walking trails offer spectacular views of the River Thames and the surrounding countryside.
