Description
The Jewish Cemetery in Lubartow is a unique memorial established in 1796, bearing witness to the rich history of the Jewish community in the region.
It is an extraordinary monument that reminds us of the time when Jews made up more than half of Lubartow's population. Walking among the historic tombstones, one can feel the spirit of bygone eras and better understand the tragic fate of this community during the Holocaust.
The cemetery is part of a project to mark Jewish necropolises in Poland - you will find information boards and QR codes with additional descriptions.
