Description
St. David's Cathedral is one of Wales' most important monuments, with a history dating back to the 6th century. This majestic building impresses with its rich architecture, including the Becket, Holy Trinity and Our Lady chapels, as well as the impressive Rose stained glass window.
The site is famous for its unique spiritual atmosphere, described as a 'thin place' where the boundary between heaven and earth seems extremely thin.
The cathedral has survived numerous events, including an earthquake in the 13th century, and the St. David's reliquary and cloisters have recently been restored. For lovers of history and architecture, this is a real treat!
