Description

Collégiale Saint-Martin de Colmar is a magnificent example of Gothic architecture in Alsace. Built between 1234 and 1365, the temple impresses with its colorful roof and richly decorated portals.

The interior of the church captivates with its Baroque organ case from 1755, originally built by Johann Andreas Silbermann, and the medieval altars and sculptures in the chapels surrounding the chancel.

Gothic stained glass windows, including the 13th-century head of the beardless Christ, add historical and artistic significance to the place, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of serenity and spirituality.
