Christ Church Picture Gallery

Christ Church Picture Gallery is a unique art museum located on the grounds of Christ Church, one of the colleges of Oxford University. The gallery boasts an impressive collection of old master paintings and drawings, mainly Italian art from the 14th to 18th centuries.

The collection includes some 300 paintings by masters, including works by Fra Angelico, Salvator Rosa and Paolo Veronese. Of particular note is Annibale Carracci's 'Butcher's Shop.

The gallery also has nearly 2,000 drawings by masters such as Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Dürer, making it a true paradise for art and history lovers.
