Haishijie Aquarium

Haishijie Aquarium is a fascinating underwater world with more than 500 species of rare fish and 6,000 marine specimens. The facility impresses with 20 aquariums and an underwater tunnel with huge shafts through which you can view marine life up close.

A unique attraction is the shark aquarium, home to more than 30 predators, including bull, lemon and whale sharks. The 10,000-square-meter Polar Museum showcases polar bears, penguins and walruses in air-conditioned enclosures. The Ocean Theater offers performances with dolphins and sea lions, and the Whale Shark Museum showcases an impressive 8.34-meter specimen.
