Château du Haut-Barr is a medieval castle dating back to the 12th century, known as the 'Eye of Alsace'. Perched atop a sandstone cliff, it offers breathtaking 360° views of the Vosges mountains and the Alsace plain.
One of the most fascinating attractions is the legendary Devil's Bridge, which connects two sandstone rocks. According to local legend, the Devil demanded the soul of the first pilgrim to cross the bridge, but the bishops outsmarted him by conducting a dog.
